RACE RECAP: 2022 Race No. 155 – November 18, 2022 Winter Classic – 600 Micros – Rockfish Speedway
RAEFORD, N.C. – Chase Cabre won the 30-lap 600 Micro feature Friday night at Rockfish Speedway. The event kicked off the two-night Winter Classic at the track.
Cabre, who had never seen the track before, started the night strong by setting quick time in qualifying. He followed that up with a heat race win that put him on the pole position for the feature.
At the drop of the green flag Cabre got the advantage over second-starting Pat Bealer and set the early pace. Bealer was able to catch Cabre when they hit lapped traffic, but timely cautions gave Cabre open track and a run to the victory.
Bealer was second with Michael Hubert third.
Corey Myers won the 30-lap 270-Winged Micro feature.
