RACE RECAP: 2022 Race No. 152 – November 5, 2022 NASCAR Xfinity Series Championship Race – Phoenix Raceway
PHOENIX, Ariz. – Ty Gibbs won Saturday’s NASCAR Xfinity Series Championship Race at Phoenix Raceway. The win clinched him the 2022 series Championship.
Gibbs started on the pole and lead 125 of the 200 laps, but the winning advantage came with the race off pit road on a lap 160 pit stop. Noah Gragson raced into second and closed to a few car lengths on the final lap but could never mount a challenge.
Gibbs grabbed the victory, his seventh of the season. Gragson and his JR Motorsports teammate Justin Allgaier completed the podium.
