RACE RECAP: 2022 Race No. 144 – October 25, 2022 Tuesday Night Racing – Millbridge Speedway
SALISBURY, N.C. – Tanner Tucker put an exclamation point on his 2022 Championship Season Tuesday with a win in the 15-lap Beginner Box Stock Feature at Millbridge Speedway. It was his third Tuesday victory of the year.
Tucker put together a near-perfect night winning quick time, his heat race and leading every lap of the feature. Midway through the feature Jackson Darnell got past, but Tucker quickly took the spot back before the completion of the lap. Tucker won with Brexton Busch second and Cash Bowyer third.
Tyler Buzze won his career first Tuesday night victory in a thrilling 20-lap Box Stock feature. He was fifth in the lead pack of cars when the leader crashed; he masterfully escaped the accident to lead the final lap for victory. Payton Johnson and 2022 Champion Brody Snyder were second and third.
Jayden Cordell dominated the 20-lap JR Wing feature, his sixth win clinching him the 2022 Season Championship. Slate Harrell won his second-consecutive Cadet A-Feature with Wyatt Linker getting the Cadet B-Feature win.
