RACE RECAP: 2022 Race No. 113: August 24, 2022 Wednesday Night Racing – Millbridge Speedway
SALISBURY, N.C. – Brent Crews scored the win Wednesday in the 30-lap 600 Micro feature at Millbridge Speedway. It was his fourth Wednesday night win at the track.
Neal Allison jumped from the pole position to the early lead, pacing the field for the first 10 laps. Sheldon Creed was working the outside lane and on lap 11 got around Allison to the top spot. As he led, Crews was working forward and on lap 22 made his move in turn four.
The cars bounced off each other, and off the wall with Crews gathering it up first to take the lead. He never looked back and scored the win over Nick Drake and Creed finished third.
Coen McDaniel picked up the win in the 15-lap Intermediate Outlaw Kart feature. Daniel Adam was the winner of the 15-lap Legends car feature with Wyatt Miller winning the Restricted Micro main event.
