RACE RECAP: 2022 Race No. 112: August 23, 2022 Tuesday Night Racing – Millbridge Speedway
SALISBURY, N.C. – Jackson Darnell scored his third Tuesday night win of the season in the 15-lap Beginner Box Stock feature at Millbridge Speedway. It was his fifth overall win at the track this year.
Darnell started fourth, but a first lap wreck in turn one sent him to the back of the field. As he raced forward Tanner Tucker set the pace. On lap nine Darnell caught and passed Tucker, who on lap 12 passed Darnell back. A restart with two laps to go brought Brexton Busch into the battle and the three each took turns at the lead over the final pair of laps before Darnell got the upper hand at the finish.
Busch and Tucker followed Darnell across the finish line.
In the 20-lap Box Stock feature it was a green-to-checkered lead and win for Brody Snyder, his fourth Tuesday win of the year. Cadet features were won by Maddox Lykins and Rocco Zipadelli. Karter Beattie scored the dominant win in the 20-lap JR Wing feature.
