RACE RECAP: 2022 Race No. 106: August 14, 2022 Tuesday Night Racing – Millbridge Speedway
SALISBURY, N.C. – Chase DeMarco scored the victory in the 15-lap Beginner Box Stock feature Tuesday at Millbridge Speedway. A strong 108-car field showed up for the four divisions of racing.
DeMarco started seventh in the 16-car field and quickly raced forward to the lead by lap three. Tanner Tucker took the leave on lap five and held until lap 12 when DeMarco again took command. From there it was on to victory over Konner Leicht and Tucker. It was his fourth Tuesday night win of the season.
Brody Measmer continued his winning ways in the 20-lap Box Stock feature, taking the lead on lap seven and never looking back. Kolson Nelson and Jayden Cordell completed the podium.
Cordell took the lead on the second lap and raced to a comfortably win in the 20 lap Junior Wing feature. Cadet Winners were: Rocco Zipadelli with a final turn pass to win the A-feature, Ella Logan in the B-Feature and Wyatt Linker in the C-Feature.
