2022 Race No. 85 – July 3, 2022 NASCAR Cup Series – Kwik Trip 200 – Road America

ELKHART LAKE, Wisc. – Tyler Reddick scored his career first NASCAR Cup Series win in Sunday’s Kwik Trip 250 at Road America. He is the fifth different first-time winner this season and the 13th different driver to score a victory.

Pole sitter Chase Elliott dominated the first to stages of the race and certainly looked untouchable for much of the event. The final pit stop of the race, a green flag stop was on lap 44 of 62, saw Elliott lead Reddick off pit road.

Reddick stayed close and wasted little time out braking Elliott into turn five on lap 46 to take the position. Over the remining laps Reddick maintained an advantage to score the victory. Elliott finished second with Kyle Larson third.
