2022 Race No. 81 – June 25, 2022 World of Outlaws NOS Energy Drink Sprint Cars – High Banks Nationals – Huset’s Speedway

BRANDON, S.D. – Sheldon Haudenschild used a spectacular final four laps to score the win Saturday night at the High Bank Nationals at Huset’s Speedway. It was his eighth win of the season and worth $100,000.

Carson Macedo set a blistering pace early and led the first 34 of 40 laps. On lap 35 Buddy Kofoid went inside of Macedo, and lead briefly, while James McFadden went outside both drivers to take the top spot. Just when it looked like a first win for the season for McFadden, Haudenschild entered the fray.

With four laps remaining he was sixth, with the white flag waving he was third; and then he blasted around the outside of both McFadden and Kofoid in turns one and two for the lead. He maintained to the checked flag and the win.

McFadden was disappointed with his second-place finish, with Kofoid finishing third.
