2022 Race No. 74 – June 11, 2022 NASCAR Camping World Truck Series – DoorDash 250 – Sonoma Raceway

SONOMA, Calif. – Kyle Busch picked up his first NASCAR Camping World Truck Series victory of the season Saturday in the DoorDash 250 at Sonoma Raceway. It was his series-leading 62nd win and continues his streak to 10 consecutive years with at least one victory aboard a truck.

Busch had the dominant truck for most of the event, leading 45 of the 75 laps. But, he had to win a couple of restart battles in the final laps to secure the win. The final restart was on lap 73 and Busch got the jump over a strong battle for the second spot. That battle allowed Busch a clean run over the final two laps to victory.

Zane Smith methodically moved forward all day and got the best of that battle for second to earn runner-up honors. Ty Majeski continued his strong season with a third-place finish.

In the companion General Tire 200 ARCA Menards West Series Race it was Jake Drew getting his second consecutive road course win.
