2022 Race No. 71: June 4, 2022 Saturday Night Weekly Racing – St. Francois County Raceway (New Track No. 229)

FARMINGTON, Mo. – Steve Short scored his first victory of the season in the 25-lap Sprint Car feature Saturday night at St. Francois County Raceway. He became the fourth driver to win in four races at the track this year.

Short won the second heat race which put him second on the starting grid for the feature. He got the lead at the drop of the green and survived a few restarts to score the win. Joe B. Miller finished in the second spot, with Zach Daum claiming third.

Rayce Baker was the winner in the 20 lap A Modified feature. Clint Young won the B Modified feature that was shortened from 15 laps to 8 laps. Jason Neel won the 15 lap Super Streets feature.
