2022 Race No. 69: June 3, 2022 MOWA Sprint Cars/World of Outlaw Case Late Models – Tri-City Speedway (New Track No. 228)

PONTOON BEACH, Ill – Jake Neuman won the 25-lap Morrow Brothers Ford MOWA Sprint Car Series race and Bobby Pierce won the 40-lap World of Outlaws CASE Construction Equipment Late Model feature Friday at Tri-City Speedway.

Neuman started fourth in the sprint car feature and hustled forward to the lead by lap five. He was comfortably ahead when a late race caution set up a two-lap dash to the finish. Reigning series champ Zach Daum started second, but Neuman was strong on the start and cruised to victory.

It was Neuman’s first series win of the season. Daum settled for second with Ayrton Gennetten third.

Pierce drew the pole position and jumped into the lead at the drop of the green for the late model feature. He was flawless and led the entire distance on his way to victory. It was his fourth career series win.

Kyle Bronson chased Pierce the entire race and finished second. Ryan Gustin was third.

Kyle Steffens won the 30-lap UMP Modified feature.
