2022 Race No. 68: June 1, 2022 Wednesday Night Series – Millbridge Speedway
Carson Kvapil made a rare start in the Winged 600 Micro division Wednesday at Millbridge Speedway and drove directly to victory lane, winning the 30-lap feature. The current point leader for the CARS Late Model Stock Tour, driving for JR Motorsports, has won multiple championships at Millbridge in the past.
Kvapil started third and chased Trevor Cline through some heavy lapped traffic in the first half of the race. On lap 16 he found the opening he needed to take the top spot; from there he survived a few late race restarts to get the victory.
Cline held on to second with Will Boprey third.
Other winners were, Katie Yonchuk in the 15-lap Intermediate Outlaw Karts, Caleb Scarborough in the 15-lap Restricted Micros and Moback Tournear in the 20 lap Buggies feature.
