2022 Race No. 60: May 20, 2022 NASCAR Camping World Truck Series – SpeedyCash200 – Texas Motor Speedway

FORT WORTH -- Stewart Friesen used a fast truck and a strong overtime restart to win the SpeedwayCash.com 200 NASCAR Camping World Truck Series Race at Texas Motor Speedway. The win was his third-career series victory and snapped a 53-race draught since his last win in November 2019.

Friesen started third and wasted little time getting to the front, taking the lead on lap two. Over the course of the 147-lap race he led seven different times for a total of 60 laps. As the final laps wound down, he found himself chasing down Christian Eckes, looking for his career first victory.

A late race caution set up a green-white-checkered overtime finish, Stewart and Eckes battled side-by-side until the exit of turn two on the final lap when Friesen got the upper hand. He led the balance of the lap for victory.

Eckes settled for second, tying his career-best finish. Ryan Preece won the first two stages but came up short in the end to finish third.
