2022 Race No. 59: May 18, 2022 Wednesday Night Series – Millbridge Speedway

SALISBURY, N.C. – Will Boprey, of Statesville, bested the 44-car field of non-winged 600 Micro Sprints on Wednesday night at Millbridge Speedway to get the win. It was his first non-winged Micro victory at the track.

Boprey started second in the 30-lap main event and jumped into the lead at the drop of the green. While he worked the top grove, Brent Crews, a three-time winner in four races, hustled into second and closed on the leader.

Twice during the race Crews threw “slidejobs” on Boprey and in both instances Boprey worked back around and caution flags reset the lineup In the end Boprey was up for all challenges and got the victory. Crews settled for second with Trevor Cline Third.
