2022 Race No. 57: May 15, 2022 NASCAR Cup Series – AdventHealth 400 – Kansas Speedway

KANSAS CITY, Kan. – Kurt Busch turned in a near flawless performance, on a day filled with missteps from so many, to win the AdventHealth 400 NASCAR Cup Series race at Kansas Speedway. It was his 34th career victory, first win at Kansas and his first win with 23XI Racing.

Busch took the lead for the first time on lap 113, of 267, and would be near the front the rest of the afternoon. The race’s eighth and final caution ended with a restart 33 laps from the end with Kyle Larson leading. Over waning laps, Busch narrowed the gap and on lap 259 was able to move alongside Larson and to the lead. He led the final nine laps to the victory.

Larson settled for second, with Kyle Busch completing the top three.
