Christopher Bell has been good Wednesday nights at Millbridge – three top five finishes in three starts. Wednesday he was great, scoring his first win of the season in the 30-lap 600 Micro feature.
Will Boprey jumped into the early lead with Bell hustling forward from eighth quickly. On lap four Bell found a way around Boprey and into the top spot. A few restarts and some heavy lapped traffic allowed Jesse Love to get alongside Bell a few times, but he was able to turn back those challenged for victory. Love finished second with Brent Crews completing the top three.
Coen McDaniel scored the win in the 15 lap Open Champ Kart feature, and in the Intermediate feature it was Katie Yonchuk with a last turn pass to get her fourth win in five starts.
