2022 Race No. 46: April 30, 2022 NASCAR Xfinity Series – Dover Motor Speedway
Josh Berry won his first NASCAR Xfinity Series race of the season in the A-GAME 200 at Dover Motor Speedway. It was his third career series victory, it bettered a second-place fun in last years race at the “Monster Mile”.
Berry had a strong run all afternoon but saved the best for the end, taking the lead on lap 146 of the 200-lap run. A caution on lap 159 brought a final round of pitstops but his crew performed flawlessly getting him back onto the track first. From there he cruised to the victory over his JR Motorsports teammate Justin Allgaier.
Ty Gibbs rallied late for a third-place finish and Noah Gragson finished fourth, cashing the final $100,000 Dash For Cash bonus of the year. Sam Mayer recovered from multiple missteps on pit road to finish fifth; making it a 1-2-4-5 finish for JR Motorsports.
