2022 Race No. 29 – Saturday, April 2, 2022 NASCAR Advance Auto Parts Weekly Racing Series – Dominion Speedway

Dominion Raceway kicked off their 2022 season with a seven-division, nine-feature program. The state-of-the-art track is part of the NASCAR Advance Auto Parks Weekly Series of speedways.

The Virginia Racer division had a pair of 35-lap features. In the first one it was Nick Leitz inheriting the lead on lap 33 when race leader Mike Genoe hit fluid on the track and crashed. Leitz scored the win. The second 35 lapper had Alex Brock grab his first career victory in a points race in the caution free race.

Cameron Bolin made the trip from South Carolina worthwhile by winning the 25-lap Legends car feature. Bolin won the pole, started fourth on the inversion and quickly took command of the event on lap two enroute to victory.

Other winners were: Mike Rudy and Neil Culley in modified features, John Andrews in Anycar, Michael Frayser in Ucars, Brian Rundstom Jr. in Bandoleros, and Tyler Warriner in Mini Cup.
