2022 Race No. 26 – Wednesday, March 30, 2022 Wednesday Night Season Opener – Millbridge Speedway
Micro Sprint Racing is growing in the Carolinas, and a strong 35-car field checked into Millbridge Speedway for their Wednesday night season opener. The field not only consisted of the strong weekly 600 Micro competitors at Millbridge; but some NASCAR national series drivers who are finding dirt racing appealing.
The 30 lap Micro feature was frenzied for the first 15 laps with Brent Crews, Neal Allison, Christopher Bell and Nick Drake swapping slide jobs for the top for spots with each set of turns. Ultimately Crews was able to get the upper hand and spend the second half of the race distancing himself from the field, while fighting lapped traffic.
Crews scored the victory over Drake and Bell.
Other winners were: Wyatt Miller in Restricted Micros, Katie Yonchuk in Intermediates, and Moback Tournear in the Buggie Division.
