2022 Race No. 23 – Friday, March 25, 2022 World of Outlaws CASE Construction Late Models – Cherokee Speedway, Gaffney, S.C.

“Downtown” Michael Brown scored his career-first World of Outlaws CASE Construction Late Model Series win Friday night at the Rock Gault Memorial event at Cherokee Speedway.

Midway through the 40-lap race Brown found an opening in lapped traffic to go from third to the lead and he never looked back enroute to the $10,000 win. He outpaced Ryan Gustin who finished second and is still looking for his career-first series win. Max Blair finished third.

“I’ve always dreamed of doing this,” said Brown in victory lane. Brown also recently celebrated the birth of his first child making this his first win as a father.
