2022 Race No. 22 – Sunday, March 20, 2022 Trans-Am Series presented by Pirelli – Roval at Charlotte (N.C.) Motor Speedway
Retired NASCAR driver Paul Menard led the 12-car field to green for Round Two of the 2022 Trans Am Series season at the 2.25-mile Roval at Charlotte Motor Speedway.
Menard took early command and looked strong until lap 25, of 45, when a flat tire put him a lap down. Good pit work, and some tire woes for other competitors put Menard back in the hunt. He had to fend off a late race challenge by Tomy Drissi, but did so in getting the win.
Drissi finished second with Amy Ruman completing the podium.
